RGN:
Working with elderly patients, physical rehabilitation, mental health paediatric
Pressure Ulcer Prevention
Safe use of insulin
IV administration
End of life Care
Healthcare Assistant:
Knowledge and experience in care giving and using equipment such as Blood Pressure Monitors, Blood Sugar Monitors, Automatic Beds, Hoists
Having empathy and understanding of issues encountered by patients with care needs
Relevant statutory and mandatory training; Manual Handling, First Aid, Basic Life support, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene/Infection Control, Nutrition and Hydration
Ability to use own initiative, plan own work and prioritise a patient's care needs
Social worker:
Provide a comprehensive assessment and care management service to older and disabled people, including the utilisation of appropriate information technology
Deal with casework supervision and development work in the field of services for older and disabled people
Assist team managers in the discharge of their duties
Supervise reporting staff and deputise for team managers during leave and other absences as required
Having the option to carry a small caseload of complex cases, if this is desired by the Practitioner Manager and agreed by the Team Manager
