We provide clients with temporary/permanent staffing such as Registered General Nurses (RGNs), Healthcare Assistants and Social Workers. Summary descriptions of these roles are provided below:
RGN:
  • Working with elderly patients, physical rehabilitation, mental health paediatric
  • Pressure Ulcer Prevention
  • Safe use of insulin
  • IV administration
  • End of life Care
Healthcare Assistant:
  • Knowledge and experience in care giving and using equipment such as Blood Pressure Monitors, Blood Sugar Monitors, Automatic Beds, Hoists
  • Having empathy and understanding of issues encountered by patients with care needs
  • Relevant statutory and mandatory training; Manual Handling, First Aid, Basic Life support, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene/Infection Control, Nutrition and Hydration
  • Ability to use own initiative, plan own work and prioritise a patient's care needs
Social worker:
  • Provide a comprehensive assessment and care management service to older and disabled people, including the utilisation of appropriate information technology
  • Deal with casework supervision and development work in the field of services for older and disabled people
  • Assist team managers in the discharge of their duties
  • Supervise reporting staff and deputise for team managers during leave and other absences as required
  • Having the option to carry a small caseload of complex cases, if this is desired by the Practitioner Manager and agreed by the Team Manager
